Sonie J. Wiggs

Sonie J. Wiggs, age 61, died in her home in Belleville on August 2nd, 2023. Born in Los Angeles, she married the love of her life Kurt Wiggs, and moved back home with him to Belleville. There they enjoyed a wonderful and strong 43 years of marriage and raised two successful sons Allen and Alex Wiggs. Unlike most couples, Sonie and Kurt frequently spent more than just their home time together. She got them involved with leading the local cub scout troop, where she helped many kids get the tools needed to become good people. She helped the local police so much as a female liaison that the chief gave her an honorary badge. After her husband left law enforcement, the two of them founded and ran Ace Maintenance and spent over 25 years working together every day. Their dog Izzy even went along as they worked on homes and apartments.
