I loved Carolyn. She was a patient listener, had a compassionate heart and a great laugh! My sympathy to us all but especially to her family. She loved you each whole heartedly.
Carolyn was a wonderfully kind and caring lady. I know she will be missed by many. I’m thinking of all your family and keeping you I’m my prayers.
It has been some time since I saw Carolyn, but my memories of work with her on the Committee on Ministry and as a member of the presbytery staff remain vivid. She was always so very faithful, good-hearted, quick to laugh, trustworthy—all those things one values in a colleague. Even after retirement, she would greet me with warmth, and her encouragement of our shared responsibilities with the presbytery’s congregations never flagged. She certainly could be a force to be reckoned with when needed, but ultimately she was one of those people who make a mark simply by using their gifts joyfully, and by caring deeply about others. The world needs a lot more like her. Blessings to you Dee, and to all the family I have not met. I hope the memories will be strong and good, and that you will find comfort in knowing how so many of us held her in deepest regard. God be with you.
My condolences to your family. I remember your mom as being sweet, funny and strong. May peace be with you.

I have missed seeing her and the lunches we shared when working together. She was always so proud of her family and bringing me up to date on all the grandchildren.
Prayers for the family as you gather to celebrate her life and share memories and laughs. She was a wonderful friend.
Deepest sympathy.
Dee I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed your Mom very much.
Your family is in my prayers. I am so sorry to hear of her death. She always smiled and spoke to me as she was coming and going past the desk headed for supper. She was a sweet lady. May she rest in peace.
I worked for Friedewald Engineering Company on 1st Street in Belleville for many years. Dee Ann worked with me and I got to know the family very well. Carolyn was a wonderful person and her children were the most important part of her life – all grew up to be outstanding individuals. I am so happy that I got to know this wonderful family.
My dear Vicki, it is so good to hear from you.
Mom had a wonderful, happy, loving life, especially with all her kids, especially her great grandchildren.
It’s funny, at her life celebration my oldest granddaughter and I got talking about typing and the importance of accuracy and speed.
I see by your name you have married. So happy to see. Do keep in contact.
Dee, Kay, Jim and Jan – I just read the Belleville obits. I am so sorry for your loss. Your mom was like a second mother to me. She always listened to me and gave me great advice. She will be missed! Diane (the babysitter)
