Audrey S. Schweitzer

Audrey S. Schweitzer, nee Stratton, 92, of Belleville, IL, formerly of Wayne, NJ, born Tuesday, November 2, 1926, in Paterson, NJ, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.

Audrey was a Library Clerk and a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Belleville IL. Audrey was active in the life of the Preakness School for 18 years, a 4H leader for 15 years, and taught Sunday School in the Preakness Reformed Church for 30 years. She enjoyed working in the Preakness Branch of the Wayne Public Library for many years. She was friendly, outgoing, and liked to help others. She was always willing to teach and share her talents. She loved nature, flowers, gardens and landscapes. She loved reading and all types of handwork. Most of all she loved people.

She was preceded in death by her:

Visitation: Visitation from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm, Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Pastor Intern, Abbey Croissant, officiating. Private family interment.
