Albert H. Beck Jr.

Albert H. Beck Jr., 89, of Belleville, IL, born Saturday, June 2, 1934, in Belleville, IL, passed away Saturday, September 9, 2023.

Albert worked as a Coal Miner for over 20 years before retiring. He was a member of U.M.W.A. (United Mine Workers of America), a member of Faith Baptist Church in Belleville, IL and a proud U.S. Army veteran. Albert was a die-hard Cardinals fan and a life-long lover of education. After quitting school in the 7th grade, he later went on to accomplish his life-long goal of obtaining his G.E.D. After that he took numerous college classes to continue broadening his knowledge. He was the best father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be greatly missed.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Pastor Tony Monterousso officiating. Interment will follow at Valhalla Cemetery, Belleville, Illinois.
