Teagan David “Teag” Kelley, 20, of O’Fallon, IL, born Friday, March 26, 2004, in Amberg, Germany, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Touchette Regional Hospital in Centreville, IL.
Teagan was loved by many. There wasn’t a person he met that didn’t immediately love him. He had a smile that would light up a room and a heart of gold. His charming demeanor and infectious enthusiasm was loved by all. Teagan was capable of brightening even the darkest of spaces and filling the room with a sense of happiness. Teagan’s passion for video games was unmatched, with a natural talent that earned him top rankings in every game he played. Teagan was an exceptional server for Marco’s Express. He had a great passion for music and loved to express himself through singing. Teagan excelled in football, wrestling, gymnastics and always wore jersey #11. When he wasn’t gaming, his sights were set on a career in modeling, where he hoped to use his charming looks and charismatic personality to make a name for himself in the fashion world.

My heart breaks for your entire family. I can see his bright and beautiful spirit shining through in his photograph. David, no one should have to bury a child, and I cannot even fathom the pain you and your wife are going through. Donna and David, being a grandparent, myself, I know the special bond and love we have for our grandchildren and can only imagine the unbearable pain. My thoughts and prayers are with each one of his loved ones. I am asking our Lord and Savior to give you peace, comfort, and strength at this most difficult and devastating time of your lives. Our family sends our deepest condolences to Teagan’s Family and friends. My grandson Landon Moore received devastating news about the tragic loss of his dear friend Teagan. He was beyond heartbroken. The boys met gaming and formed a bond between a group of kids from many different parts of the world. He visited Teagan last year and was headed up there next week. Teagan’s family welcomed him like a family member. I only met Teagan over FaceTime and was very kind to talk to. I have read many comments about Teagan and my heart is sad that I never was able meet such a wonderful human being. So many kind words were expressed in the tributes to him. Our family mourned his loss like one of our own. Our deepest sympathy goes out to his mother and father extended family and friends. Our families have never met but how two friends developed a friendship through a game. Difficult times lie ahead as everyone that new Teagan copes with his loss and questions why such a wonderful human being life was cut so short. We have to lean on one another and continue to cherish his memory as we will always have a place for Teagan in our heart. Remember to continue the laughter and there will be tears. Our family will prayer for strength to Teagan family. I have a wonderful grandson who
that I will support during this heartache. Landon Moore and family
