Ronald “Ron” Grant Euchner, 81, of Belleville, IL, born Tuesday, May 25, 1943, in Kankakee, IL, passed away peacefully, Sunday, November 3, 2024, in his home, surrounded by his family.
Ron was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, opa, and great-grandfather. Ron was a natural born salesman. From selling Christmas cards door to door when he was a young boy, to Division Merchandiser at W. T. Grant Co. He was manager of the Outdoor Store for many years, salesman for Bloomer Amusement Co., a real estate broker and had his own bulk mailing business called Executive Services.
In his younger years, he was very active in the Jaycees and the Belleville Chamber of Commerce. If you were a friend of Ron, you knew you could count on him in any situation.
In recent years, you could find Ron sitting in his favorite recliner, enjoying a cup of coffee or a mug of Pepsi researching his ancestry, or buying and selling “antiques,” which family called “junk.” He also enjoyed playing poker on his computer. Of course, there was always a pack of Camel cigarettes by his side.

Ron was a awesome neighbor. Our dad always enjoyed talking to him. He was always kind to all of us neighborhood kids. So sorry to hear of his passing God Bless.

Ron was an awesome person. I recall a number of times he helped me with situations I needed advise on.
