Dear Carl and Ashley,
This is Miss Lynn from Belleville West. My heart is broken for you over the loss of your dear mom! She always brightened up my day when she came into the office. She was a very special lady and I’m so thankful that I got to know her. Please know that I am praying that you will feel God’s loving arms wrapped around you, holding you close and filling you with His peace in the days ahead.
I am so saddened to learn of the death of this amazing woman who lived through much and still smiled. She had a special quality and engaging personality. She will be sorely missed but we know she is rejoicing in heaven in the loving arms of her God.
Dear Carl and Ashley,
I’m so sorry to hear about your Mom’s passing. She was a wonderful, big-hearted lady. She was a part of our H.O.P.E group years ago at Belleville 1st Assembly. Heaven has gained a true treasure. So sorry for your loss and prayers for all

Patty was a bright light that shined for all that knew her. She was a friend to so many. I was lucky to have her as one of my friends. She was strong and had gone thru alot in her life. Facing cancer when Carl was only in kindergarten and yet pushed thru and showed how determined she was. She was always smiling and upbeat. She adored her kids and spent her time hanging out with them and making memories. She had a beautiful voice and could sing. She loved God and her church. She was a lady of good faith. She was.a hard worker. She never had a bad word to say about anyone. She was positive and optimistic. She believed in the good in people. She gave forgiveness. She was a class act. She was kind hearted and compassionate. She was pretty too!
… She is in heaven now…singing from above. She will always be around in our hearts and best believe she will be watching over her kids 🌟
From heaven.
I love you Patty ❤️. Your friend Krysta Hahn
Carl and Ashley,
I am so very sorry for your loss. Your mom was such an amazing person who brought such warmth and fun during my childhood. She was not only our babysitter but very much a part of our family. She was always there to make us laugh. Her strength and love will continue to grow through each of you. Please know I am thinking of you all and am sending my love and prayers your way.
From Arizona: Hugs of comfort.
UNTO YOU do I lift up my eyes, O You Who are enthroned in heaven. Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, and as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, until He has mercy and loving-kindness for us. Psalms 123:1-2
Let us continually keep our eyes fixed on Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith. Let us be strengthen by His love and mercy, and allow our feet to be ordered by His Word.
Lord, we lift up our hands in worship of You and position our hearts in submission to Your divine will. We worship in Spirit and Truth. We die to the vices of our will and refuse to be governed by the selfishness of self will. We will abide in the stillness of Your Voice, the stability of Your Will, and the strength of Your Word. Help us to navigate every moment of our day as our heart’s desire is truly to do Your will in the earth. Amen!
Pattie was my sweet cousin and one of my favorite childhood friends. My heart aches for Uncle Paul, Aunt Marie, Carl and Ashley. Pattie was a wonderful person, always bubbly and funny, and made friends with everyone she met. Like my dad, she never met a stranger, and they had a fun relationship and would tease each other back and forth. One summer, I spent a whole week with her family. We swam in her pool, played mini golf, and played ping pong in her basement. Pattie loved to sing. We spent hours in her bedroom that summer belting out songs from her new Olivia Newton John album that she played on her 8-track player. I remember my mom telling me later that Pattie got up on stage and sang an impromptu version of You Light Up My Life in front of hundreds of people. She was fearless. We reconnected on Facebook after many years, and I loved watching her kids grow up. She was so proud of them. I loved reading Pattie’s social media posts, and I could tell that she had a strong faith towards the end of her life. She posted something about a year ago that said “Be the reason someone believes in the goodness of people.” Pattie’s goodness and warmth spread to everyone she met. I know that she is in heaven, probably singing at the top of her lungs and making friends with everyone she meets. Love you Pattie K. Until we meet again my beautiful friend. My deepest condolences to her family.
