Carl was a wonderful man and we, his family, will miss him tremendously.
Smitty, you were the first NCO that I worked with at Clark AB, so very long ago. You taught me to be a leader. I looked for you and Roger for many many years. You stood with me at my wedding, we drank the Philippines dry. This is not how I expected to find you. Rest in honored peace my brother. We will meet again in Gods time.
my wife and i send our heart felt condolence to you. carl and i served together and were great friends. our fondest memories are of the scuba trips we took together. carl always had a smile for anyone who knew him. he will be missed but the memories are still alive.
god bless
