Maureen A. Schottel, 65, of Belleville, IL, born Saturday, January 21, 1956, in East Saint Louis, IL, passed away Monday, July 12, 2021; at Integrity Healthcare of Woodriver in Woodriver, IL.

Her favorite things in life were Bingo, Dr. Pepper & shopping at Walmart. She loved to give to others and would buy items for people that they needed and last but not least she loved hanging out with her family.

Maureen was a Registered Nurse for Memorial Hospital and various Nursing Homes in and around Belleville, IL.

She was preceded in death by her:

• Nephew, Dylan Schottel

Visitation: Visitation from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Sunday, July 18, 2021 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL, and from 9:00 – 10:00 am, on Monday, July 19, 2021 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville IL.

Funeral: Funeral Service will be held at Kurrus Funeral Home 10:00 am, Monday, July 19, 2021, with Fr. Ken York officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Belleville, IL.
