Mary Ann McGraw, nee Peyla, 88, of Belleville, IL, born Tuesday, January 1, 1935, in East Saint Louis, IL, passed away Friday, May 19, 2023 peacefully at home in Belleville.
Mary Ann was a member of St. Henry Catholic Church Belleville IL where she was involved in many clubs such as the Prayer Chain and the Ladies Club of St. Henry’s. Mary Ann was a wonderful and caring, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandma, great grandma, and friend. She will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her:

- Parents, Charles and Georgia, nee Felis, Peyla
- Brother, Charles Peyla Jr.

Visitation: Visitation from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.
Funeral: A Procession will leave Kurrus at 9:45 am, Friday May 26th, 2023 for a 10:00 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Henry Catholic Church in Belleville, IL with Rev. Kenneth York officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Belleville, IL.

Mary, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. I remember the times she was at St. Henry’s or we were at your house. She was very kind (and laughed at our foolishness). My thoughts are with you and your family.
