Kami Kraus, 43 years old, formerly of Belleville, IL passed away on June 28, 2023, after her battle with appendix cancer at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Kami was born on October 9, 1979, in Belleville, IL to Carol Kraus and Glenn Kraus. Kami was educated at Belleville Township High School West and graduated in 1997. She furthered her education at the former Sandford Brown College in Fenton, MO and obtained her registered respiratory therapy license. She again furthered her education in Healthcare Administration at The University of Phoenix in 2007.

After realizing her disdain for St. Louis cold weather, she moved to Texas where she worked helping the people of her community at Texas Health HEB hospital as a registered respiratory therapist.
Kami was an avid and obsessive St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, with her dislike of the Chicago Cubs clearly known. She knew every Britney Spears song and had seen every Golden Girls episode multiple times.
