To the Poell family,
I have nothing but good memories of Mr. Joe, he was a great neighbor dad, and friend. I still remember vividly the one-man band instrument he made when I was a young boy, and he would always play it for me whenever I asked him to, just to amuse me and make me laugh. There were many times over the years that I had the privilege to talk with him whenever I was visiting mom and dad, and he always had kind words and some unique perspective to give me about life. I will never forget him.
Peace and Love to all of you in your time of grieving,
Rob “Robbie” Davinroy
Kay & family, you have my deepest sympathy on your loss. I will always remember his kindness and smile. You all are in my prayers. RIP Mr. Poell
Condolences to the Poell Family. I had the honor of working with Joe when he was out of Stag and working construction. He was a wonderful gentleman and a fine electrician.
Steve, I want to offer you my sympathy. Perhaps you remember me as Sister Miriam Therese; I am now Sister Therese Anne Kiefer. I saw Joseph’s obituary on the bulletin board at Benedictine living and saw your name. I trust you are well. Our lives crossed many years ago.
Sister I remember you very well. You had a big impact on my life. Of all of my teachers you’re the one that helped me the most. Are you living at the Benedictine Residence at the Shrine? If you are, let me know. I would love to reconnect with you.
Sincerely
Steve
PS My wife remembers you too.
