Born: June 22, 1951 - Deceased: June 3, 2024
John Samuel Pack, 72, of Belleville, Illinois, passed away June 3rd, 2024. He was born on June 22, 1951, in Sherman, Texas to Samuel and Margaret Pack.
He recently moved to Belleville to be close to his sons and loved it there. He called home to his little sister every day to tell her about how happy he was up there, and to check on her to make sure she was all right.
He is survived by his youngest sister, Jenny Ann Pack Omundson of Denison, Texas and another sister and brother. He left behind a daughter Amy Sue Pack, son James Pack son Jeremie Pack and daughter, Angela Harrington. He is survived by eight grandchildren and extended family.
John worked in IT at MHMR for over twenty years before retiring. He also founded Sons of Amvets. He traveled all over the United States for both companies. John loved music. He was The Beatles’ number one fan. I would like to name his favorite song, but every song was his favorite. He played the guitar and knew all the words to any rock and roll song and played in a band for most of his life. He was the kindest person to people and animals, and he looked after people that needed him. He was very friendly and fun to talk to.
John, most importantly, loved women. He found beauty in every woman he ever met or saw. There was never a woman that was too thin or too fat. He made every female young or old feel beautiful. He blew kisses to all types that he didn’t even know. They blushed and it made their day. And they loved him. If you know, you know!
John will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. He was no ordinary person.
Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society.
Services: There will be a Celebration of Life, Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. on his birthday, at American Legion in Pottsboro, Texas. Everyone is welcome!
