James T. Painter, 73, of Belleville, IL, born Tuesday, May 24, 1949, in Birdsboro, PA, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at his residence in Belleville, IL.
James worked in retail sales for Grandpa’s and Value City. James loved his family, grandchildren and socializing with friends. He loved to garden, grill and fish and served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his:

- Nephew, Sean Michael Rose
- Father and Mother-in-law, John W. & Frances Stroud
