Jack L. Hammond, 84, of Glen Carbon, IL, born Friday, March 31, 1939, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Eden Village in Glen Carbon, IL.
Jack worked as an analyst in the telecommunications industry. He was a member of Triple Lodge #835 A.F.&A.M. Granite City, IL, lifetime member of Cincinatti Syrian Shrine Temple, member of Ainad Shrine, Arab Patrol, Tri-City Shrine Club and Southern Illinois Court #86 ROJ. He was also a proud United States Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his:

- Parents, Homer and Dorothy, nee McCaslin, Hammond

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
Visitation: Visitation from 3:00 – 6:00 pm, Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.
Special Services: Jester Walk Through at 5:13 pm, Air Patrol Walk Through at 5:20 pm and Masonic Service at 5:30 pm.
Funeral: Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm, Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Pastor Darla Kratzer officiating. Private interment.
