Elmer “Ed” Dean Sauerwein

Elmer “Ed” Dean Sauerwein, 92, of Belleville, IL, born Wednesday, April 20, 1932, in Marissa, IL, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2024 at his residence in Belleville, IL.

Ed worked as a Radiology Administer for Memorial Hospital for 25 years and worked at Picker X-Ray Corporation where he sold x-ray machines for 15 years. He was a member of St. Matthew Church in Belleville, ARPT (Registry of Radiologic Technologists), AM Society of Technology, and the Nuclear Medicine Technology Registry. He was a proud United States Navy Veteran who served during the Korean War.

Funeral: Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Kurrus Funeral Home with Pastor Bob Swickard officiating. Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
