My sweet sister-I will miss all her funny stories and great attitude. She was always such a positive person and our family will miss her so much. Thanks to her other family for being there for her.
Thank you for posting
Rest in peace, dear sweet neighbor and sister in Christ. I will miss you so much. You have been part of and such a blessing to my family for so many years. Thank you for your love and friendship to them and to me. Thank you for reminding me to be patient, for listening to my complaints, and for sharing my joys and sorrows. I look forward to seeing you again someday in heaven.
You were such a sweet fun sister-in-law. You will be greatly missed. My condolences go out to your friends & family in Illinois. I know you’re now laughing with family in heaven
Elaine was the Matriarch of our Bread Company family… she will b dearly missed….the seat by the fireplace will always be hers…her conversations & wit will leave a void for us.
It’s with such a heavy heart that we’ve recently learned of our sweet Elaine’s transition to Heaven. Elaine was our neighbor for almost 20years; my husband was her lawn care guru and she watched my two daughter’s grow up. Elaine wasn’t just a neighbor, she was family. In fact, her & my husband share the same Birthday (September 10th). I’ll never forget how she would always come over on every single Holiday with a basket of treats that she’d purchased for my girl….she’d never miss a year; even when my oldest entered into Highschool. I could go on & on, but unfortunately that won’t bring our sweet Elaine back. I just simply wanted to paint a picture that even though she didn’t have children of her own, she had much family and she was loved and will always be missed. Now you can finally RIP Elaine…you deserve it!!
We have so many blessings in life and Elaine was one of mine. As her hairdresser for many years, we laughed and learned so much from each other. I am so grateful for the last conversation we had shortly before her fall.
Rest In Peace my friend, I will miss you and someday we’ll meet again.
Elaine , was a wonderful person! I jokingly called her our Bread co Queen Mum. She was a part of our family, sharing her wit and stories. She listened to all of our silly nonsense and went along with it all. She loved morning trivia and her special seat and don’t anyone dare sit there! We lost an amazing woman! We Love you and will miss you immensely, Elaine.❤️Rest in God’s love and give Vince a kiss!
many fond memories of a dear aunt
So sorry to hear of Elaine’s passing. We worked together in St. Louis during the late 1950’s and talked on the phone often. I tried to call her today to check on her and the number had been discontinued. During my Google search, I was shocked to find her obituary. My sincere sympathy to her family and her Bread Co. friends. I was able to stop in there one day to meet her. Elaine and I had some great times working together and having lunch at the Famous Barr cafeteria in downtown St. Louis and shopping there. She was like a sister to me and I will truly miss her. God bless her family. Betty Wagner, Chester, IL
