Betty L. Gain, nee Renner, 89, of Smithton, IL, born Saturday, December 31, 1932, in Belleville, IL, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022, at her residence in Smithton, IL.
Betty, along with her husband, was the owner and operator of Country Air Mobile Manor for over 50 years. She loved to read and always looked forward to traveling in their R.V. Betty and Ed made sure to take all of their grandchildren to Disney World. She possessed a quick wit and a dry sense of humor that always resulted in laughter from those around her. Family was always the most important thing to her. She took great pride in the family’s accomplishments and her most cherished memories were of the time spent with them.
She was preceded in death by her:

Visitation: Visitation from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm, Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Joan Scharf officiating. Private Interment at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.
