James G. “Jim” Beaird Sr., 92, of Fairview Heights, IL, born Sunday, September 15, 1929, in East Saint Louis, IL, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at his residence in Fairview Heights, IL.
James was a retired officer for the Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis, MO. He was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Belleville, IL, VFW Cypress, Texas (Life Member), Gothic Lodge 852 AF & AM, Scottish Rite Bodies, Ainad Shrine Directors Staff and Southern Illinois Court 86 ROJ. He was a Veteran that served in the U.S. Army during Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his:

- Parents, Thomas T. and Thelma, nee Dunn, Beaird

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Belleville, IL.
Visitation: Visitation from 10:00 am – 12:30 pm, Tuesday, April, 19, 2022, at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL, Jester Walk Through at 11:13 am followed by a Masonic Service at 11:30 am.
Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 12:30 pm, Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Pastor Rob Dyer officiating. Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.

Jim and Debi, he will defiantly be missed but not forgotten!!! I remember all of his fantastic stories he told all of us and I finding myself telling them now to acquaintance I see in my daily routine. It was a very blessed service you had for him today!!
