Franklin W. “Peter” Bush

Franklin W. “Peter” Bush 12/22/24 – 3/19/21

Peter lived his life to the fullest! To know him was to love him. In good times and in bad,
he chose joy. He was the epitome of positivity, kindness, cheerfulness and most of all,
friendliness. Peter was a true gentleman who loved the Lord, and greeted every new face
as if they were an old friend.

After flying 50 missions as a tail gunner on a B-24 in World War II, he attended Cornell
University. Peter loved his 43-year career in group insurance with the Travelers Insurance
Company and then 10 years as an Independent Agent.

Peter shared 55 years with the love of his life, Betty Lankford Bush. They enjoyed their
retirement together in beautiful Door County, Wisconsin. He is survived by his daughter,
Cyndi Bush Allen, his son Jeff Lankford Bush, his sister Susan Diane Bush Soderberg and
his two beloved grandchildren, Blake Bush Allen and Eliza Joy Allen.

Peter Bush left a priceless legacy to everyone who crossed his path: Happiness is a
choice, make that choice today and every day. 🙂
