Born: January 4, 1941 - Deceased: 20210122
Maria Lintz passed peacefully on 22 January 2021 at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by her children. Mari Pili, as she was known to her Spanish family and siblings, was born on 4 January 1941 in Burgos, Spain to parents Lucio Infante and Theodosia Perez Infante. Maria was second youngest of nine children. In 1964, Maria met and married, Larry Lintz, a US Air Force airman serving at Torrejon US Air Force Base in Madrid. Maria joined her husband in returning to the United States where she started a family, and raised four sons. She would consider the blessing of four sons to be her greatest accomplishment.
During the early part of her adult life, Maria was a devoted mother and military spouse, during which she moved frequently within the US and abroad. Her family was her main priority and joy. She was a loving mother, and her sons’ biggest cheerleader, especially at their sporting events.
Maria entered the work force and spent many years in retail of fine jewelry on military installations across the world. In the latter part of the 1980’s, Maria moved to Las Vegas where she worked in, and retired from the local hospitality industry.
Maria enjoyed traveling, especially to see her children and family in Spain/Italy. She enjoyed the sun, beaches, the mountains and hiking. Maria was especially fond of playing bingo in her favorite casinos in Las Vegas.
