Nelson Kurt Engel, 61, of Belleville, IL, born Tuesday, January 20, 1959, in Belleville, IL, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis, MO.
Nelson was the owner of Engel Quality Tree Care. He loved reading his Bible and sharing the gospel. He liked going to stock car races with his son Kurt. He was always telling stories about cars and motorcycles “back in the day.” He also loved coloring with his granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his:

- Sister, Nancy Jean Engel
- Brother, Daniel Engel
- Father-in-law, Elmer Kaemmerer
