Joyce Dianne Rains

Joyce Dianne Rains, 69, of Alton, born Tuesday, July 31, 1951, in St. Louis, MO, passed away after a brief illness on Sunday, December 6, 2020.

Dianne worked in the Neighborhood Stabilization Office for St. Louis City Hall and served as Past President of the St. Clair Memorial Park Cemetery Association.

She was preceded in death by her:

• Parents: Clyde and Helen, nee Penry, Rains
• Brother: Daniel Rains
• Aunt: Mable Howell

Surviving are her:

• Life partner: Cindy Dempsey of Alton, IL
• Sister: Denna (Sue) Dever of Alton, IL
• Nieces

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the St. Clair Memorial Park Cemetery Association.

Visitation: Visitation from 1:00 – 3:00 pm, Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on December 10, 2020 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Pastor Doug Nicely officiating.
