David A. Tarvin, 64, of Fairview Heights, IL, born Monday, August 10, 1959, in Terre Haute, IN, passed away Friday, June 14, 2024 at his residence in Fairview Heights, IL.
David was the Director of Transportation Compliance for Clean Harbors. He is a retired Fire Chief of the Villa Hills FD and French Village FD and he was a firefighter for over 45 years. David was always willing to lend a hand and kept projects going in his spare time. He was a model train enthusiast and loved all things to do with the fire service.

Memorial Service: Memorial Service will be held at Crosspoint Church (4539 Wanda Rd. Edwardsville, IL 62025) on Sunday, June 23rd at 2pm with a provided dessert social following the service. Dave was a special individual. When he worked for us at Simmons Ambulance he was always there to assist. He will be missed. May he R.I.P.
