I met Virgene when she moved across the street from me in Monroe City, MO, back when we were about 9 years old. From that time on we were BEST FRIENDS. As the years past, we slowly drifted apart, but whenever we were together it was like time stopped and gave us extra time to catch up. I will miss her. She was like a sister to me. My prayers are with Derek and Erick and their families. Please let me know when there will be a Celebration of her life. She is a Special Person.

My thoughts and prayers for the family and friends during this difficult time. Virgene and I was good friends in grade school and high school always having fun and making memories!! We spent a lot of time together until she moved her Junior year from MHS!! Still able to visit her in Belleville a couple times, but always had contact by phone until the last year or so! Hard to tell you how much Virgene meant even though we had lost touch for quite a while. She was a very special person that touched each of us in her own way. We will always carry her in our hearts.
