Vernon and Bonnie Dennis Were the neatest, coolest, and Grooviest parents.
Ronnie and I were active in the E. St. Louis YMCA, and on several occasions required to bring our parents to speak to Ray
Sonnenberg, president of the YMCA. Yet, Vernon and Bonnie continued to let Ron and me to continue to hang out together.
They were special people and I am proud and lucky to have memories of the Dennis family.

I worked with Vern at Monsanto. Always a straight shooter, telling it like it was. He was “Good” people.

I was so sorry to read of Vernon’s death so soon after Bonnie’s. They were a wonderful couple and Bonnie was the spark our Ladies of the Elks meetings needed. God Bless them both.
