Verna V. Oplinger Furnier, nee Miller, 95, of Belleville, Illinois, born Tuesday, August 28, 1923, in Bertha, PA, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at St. Paul’s Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Verna was a member of St. Matthew United Methodist Church Belleville Illinois, the New Life Choir and New Life Club. She was a faithful Sunday School Teacher, a bold witness and a passionate prayer warrior.

She was preceded in death by her:

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at St. Matthew United Methodist Church, with Rev. James Slone officiating. Interment will be private at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Missouri on Wednesday, May 29, 2019.
