Verna “Rita” Silipena, nee Andronico, 93, of O’Fallon, IL, born Saturday, December 31, 1927, in Hammonton, NJ, passed away on the 4th day of January, 2021 at The Colonnade Senior Assisted Living Center in O’Fallon, IL.
Rita was an avid reader and loved sewing.
She was preceded in death by her:
- Husband: Edwin Silipena
- Parents: Ralph and Lucie, nee Rigolizzo, Andronico
- Brother: Carmen Andronico
Surviving are her:

- Sister: Lucy (Anthony) Chiumento of Elm, NJ
- Grandchildren

- Kevin (Crystal) Kohri
- Great-grandchildren
- Paige and Kayla Bohnemeier
- Alexander and Austin Bradac
- Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
Services: A private family service and interment will be held at a later date.
