Swen O. Tompkins, 50, of Belleville, IL, born Friday, December 12, 1969 in Munich, Germany, passed away, Saturday, April 11, 2020 in Belleville, IL.
Swen was a Car Salesman and had many cherished friends.
Swen was preceded in death by his:
- Parents: Jerry D. and Paula T., nee Fulkner, Tompkins
Surviving are his:
- Daughters:
- Miranda Tompkins of Belleville, IL
- Kirsten Tompkins of South Roxana, IL
- Fiancee: Connie Blazier of Belleville, IL
- Granddaughters: Penelope, and Adaline
- Grandson: Malcom
Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Villalobos Rescue Center, Las Vegas, NV.
Services: Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

RIP my friend you will be forever missed. I remember all the good times we had together and will keep them forever in my heart. Say hi to Mark and Dennis when you get to heaven I’m sure both will be happy to see you. Yet the rest of us will miss you dearly.

I ask he who presides over us all that the rains which nourish us be gentle when you fall on my brother Swen’s loved ones;as the rain touches each of them,let it wash away the pain and sadness that we carry this day.
I ask the sun,which brings life to us all;shine on my friends family,and bring a new life to them;a life without this days pain and sadness. Bring your sun for we all need your light,shine on them until they are at peace.
I ask the winds to sweep the pain and sadness from my friends families heavy hearts,and rid them of the troubles that weigh so heavy on these days.
I ask all spirits;cradle each of them gently in your arms and allow them these blessings,so we will all walk more softly in peace.

Thinking of you Swen. You were a great friend. I’ll never forget your parking spot you had at Althoff! I could always go out or look out in the back and there your big blue car was backed into your spot (even though there were no assigned spaces)! You made me (and so many others) laugh a lot during high school, and you put smiles on faces of so many that loved you…in and out of school. You were a really good guy. You treated everyone with respect. Rest In Peace, Swen. You deserve it. I’ll always think of you and smile. <3

Life is so unfair sometimes! I hate that you suffered, my friend. You didnt deserve so much pain!
