Scott R. Shive, 73, of Freeburg, IL, born Friday, May 13, 1949, in Indianopolis, IN, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at his residence in Freeburg, IL.

Scott worked at Sterling Steel Casting as a foundry-man early in his career. He chose to become an electrician, working his way up the IBEW apprenticeship program. Just learned of Scott’s death. He was a good friend in college. I remember racing our GTO’s early one morning back to William Woods. I had hoped to see him at college reunion this year. He was a great person and I am really sad to hear of his passing.
