Ruth W. Gunter, nee Forrest, 96, of Belleville, IL, born Thursday, April 9, 1925, in Charleston, MO, passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021; at St. Paul’s Home in Belleville, IL.

Ruth was a member of Winstanley Baptist Church Fairview Heights IL and known as the Pie Lady to the adults and Donut Lady to the kids.

She was preceded in death by her:

Visitation: Visitation from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Monday, September 27, 2021 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL and from 10:30- 11:30 am Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Winstanley Baptist Church in Fairview Heights, IL.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 am, Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Winstanley Baptist Church, with Dr. Timothy Gibson officiating. Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
