Rusty – you were my oldest cousin of all my older cousins. Your birth made my father an Uncle…while he was still in high school. My dad loved you so much! Because of the age difference between you and me, it took awhile for us to find our own friendship. We bonded over the death of our beloved fathers . You were there for me and I tried to be there for you. I know that your dad and my dad were in heaven and waiting there to greet you. We miss you and love you!!!! See you one day cuz!

My heart goes out to my cousin Misty and my Aunt Lynn, I love you both!

There is so much pain for losing my cousin so early in life. I will cherish the memories Russ and I shared during our life together. From playing cowboys and Indians using the back of grandma and grandpa’s couch, writing our special book during the summers at the lake, sharing college visits, to leaning on each other in times of need as adults. Rest in peace my dear cousin. You will always have a special place in my heart. Hugs and kisses until I see you again! 💕

Russ and I met when we joined the President Casino surveillance staff. We had some great times and he was not only a coworker but a good friend. I will always remember the night we went over to “break the bank” at the Casino Queen. We both came back broke! Even when he moved on to bigger and better things we talked and kept in touch. I was greatly shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences and sympathies go to the family. May he Rest In Peace.
