Roger Truman Jarrett, 84, of Belleville, IL, born Monday, May 1, 1939, in E. St. Louis , IL, passed away Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at his residence in Belleville, IL.
Roger was a truck driver for a food service company and at Midwest AutoPro as a driver for the Favre family and also worked for Holy Cross Cemetery. He raised chickens, turkeys and spent time with his horse. He loved his cats.
He was preceded in death by his:
- Father: Howard D. Jarrett
- Mother: Lillian, nee Grahl, Westerheide
- Brother: Rev. Ben W. Jarrett Sr.
- Sister-in-law: Gloria R. Jarrett
Surviving are his:
- Nephews
- Ben Jarrett Jr.
- Danny (Lynn) Jarrett
- Nieces
- Kathy (Roger) Winning
- Susan (John) Leahy
- Sherry Favre (Dean) Salvatore
- 7 great nieces and nephews
- 10 great-great nieces and nephews
Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society.
Visitation: Visitation from 11:30 am – 12:45 pm, Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL.
