Robert J. Pencak, 78, of Belleville, IL, born Monday, April 9, 1945, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Friday, July 14, 2023 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.
Bob was an owner of B & M Transports for many years and he retired from Vandalia Bus Lines. He was a beloved member of the Belleville/Swansea Moose Lodge 1221. He was a 1963 graduate of Assumption Catholic High School.
He was preceded in death by his:

Memorials: The family has requested that remembrances be made in the form of contributions to the American Lung Association in Robert’s name.
Services: To honor Bob’s memory, we are holding a celebration of life on July 29th from 1pm – 4pm at the Belleville/Swansea Moose Lodge 1221. We invite anyone who knew Bob to attend and share memories about his life.

While I didn’t know Robert, I served in the Army Illinois National Guard with his brothers Richard and David.
David and I were good friends.
