We wanted to send our deepest condolences at Bob’s passing.
We were both honored to have known and worked with Bob at Anheuser-Busch. Early in her career Bob took Rebecca under his wing in Corporate Engineering, teaching her much more life than engineering along the way. Through serendipity, their offices remained next to each other after every office shuffle.
Bob was a master gardener, and frequently shared bulbs and plants with us from his showplace garden. A trunk to trunk bulb transfer was repeated in the Spring and Fall.
We were glad we were able to keep in touch after Bob and we retired from A-B, visiting him at his home, and last speaking with him a few weeks ago.
In sympathy,
David and Rebecca Sherry

It was a shock to learn of Bobs passing since we had a nice talk the night before. Bob and I have been friends since he came to Anheuser-Busch, a skinny young graduate in the mid 1960s. Many fond memories of our late night visits to our homes and watching our kids grow into adults. We also raised a few Budweiser together over the years. I’ll miss our conversations, but I’m sure Bob is happy to be with Janet, the love of his life. He was an amazing friend. Peace, BudBob.

For my first and only job out of college, Bob was my boss at A-B. He taught me a lot more than I learned at school. He was an excellent engineer and I remember his old cars, especially his “new” 68 Caddy. Bob was one of the best. I’m sad about his passing. Rest in Peace Bob.
