To the Garrison family, So sorry for your loss. Yet we know there is much rejoicing in Heaven at Wendell’s homecoming. It has been a few years that he and I had the privilege of speaking on the phone for a while, we talked about the youth revival that he had directed at the fair grounds in Fairfield, Il., our school days at Wayne City, and my dad, Minor Butler , as he had pastored at Keenes Baptist Church after Wendell was pastor there. We had not talked for over 50 years at that time. Wendell was such an encourager as our youth leader. We will always be so thankful God let our paths cross. May you know your family is in our prayers for peace and contentment knowing we will all meet again. Loved Wendell and Margaret so much. Orlena Butler Tindall, 114 N Chaney Dr., Belle Rive, IL.
