Ray Allen Mundloch, 90, of Freeburg, IL, born Thursday, November 9, 1933, in Belleville, IL, passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in O’Fallon, IL, on Thursday, February 29, 2024.

Ray was married to Kathryn Ann Mundloch, nee Gottschall, his wife of 60 years, on August 13, 1955, at Christ United Church of Christ in Belleville, IL.  Together they had four children.  Ray retired from McDonnel Douglas as Vice President and CFO of  McAuto Mation division in 1996 and later worked as a business consultant to E.D.S. of St. Louis, MO.  He will always be remembered as a hard worker, skilled carpenter and mechanic, but mostly a generous provider to his family.

Ray and Kathy were affectionately referred to as Ma and Pa by their grandchildren:

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Parkinson’s Center at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.

Visitation:  Visitation from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm, March 6, 2024, at Kurrus Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. Andrew Lovins and Rev. Earl Crecelius Officiating.  Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.

The first day I had the pleasure of taking care of, Mr Ray. He became my PAWPAW he was just that. We talked about everything and anything he, treated me as if I was one.
