Philip R. Hornbuckle, 73, of Fairview Heights, IL, born Wednesday, December 1, 1948, in Cairo, IL, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Four Fountains Convalescent Center in Belleville, IL.
Philip was a Waste Water Treatment Operator for Granite City Steel in Granite City, IL. He was a member of the Masonic Gothic Lodge # 852 AF & AM Scottish Rite Bodies, York Rite Bodies.
He was preceded in death by his:
- Parents, Ralph and Marjorie L., nee Landolf, Hornbuckle
- Brother, Lee R. Allen
Surviving are his:
- Brother, Jack C. (Melanie) Hornbuckle of Amarillo, TX
- Nieces:
- Kelly Ann Caswell of Ballwin, MO
- Jennifer Lee (Kenny) Sims of Indianopolis, IN
- Nephew, Nathan Hornbuckle of Springfield, MO
- Great nieces and great nephews

Visitation: Visitation from 3:00 – 4:00 pm, Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.
Funeral: Masonic Service will be held at 4:00 pm, Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Kurrus Funeral Home. Private Interment at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.

To the family of Phil,
My thoughts and prayers go out to you during this difficult time. Phil was a great friend that I’ll always cherish. He had a big heart and had a lot of friends that cared for him! Rest assure that he is with God and his family and friends that went before him! I’ll miss him so much. 💞💞💞
