Norman L. Monroe, 69, of Belleville, Illinois, born October 14, 1949, in E. St. Louis, Illinois, passed away Friday, April 12, 2019 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Illinois.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation – St. Louis Chapter or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Visitation: Visitation from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Celebration of Life: Services will be held at 7:00pm Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, Illinois.

Thank you all for your condolences. My dad was a great man & a great father. I will miss him greatly.
Also, want to thank Kurrus Funeral Home for having such a wonderful and amazing staff and Rev. Doug Stewart for his service. I could not have done it with out you all.

I miss my Uncle Norman so much. He had his rough edges but still had a great ass heart of gold. I love him and miss him so much. Rest in Peace Uncle Norman.
