Norbert W. Huffman, 62, of Caseyville, IL, born Friday, March 28, 1958 in Columbus, OH, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2020 at his residence in Caseyville, IL.
Norbert was a 40 year member of Machinist and Aerospace Workers Local 777 and a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Collinsville IL.
He was preceded in death by his:
- Mother: Lore, nee Ding, Ruff
Surviving are his:
- Wife: Julie L., nee Eschmann, Huffman of Caseyville, IL
- Father: Charles Ruff of Glen Carbon, IL
- Brother: Roland (Carole) Huffman of Belleville, IL
- Sister-in-law: Kathy (James) Mannhard of Highland, IL
- Nephew: Nicholas
Memorials: Memorials may be made to Belleville Area Humane Society.
Funeral: Private family interment.

Very Sorry to hear about Norbie. I worked with him for many years at CF. He was a nice man with an easy smile. He will be missed.

Norbert was my brother. We have talked and texted many times especially since his mom Lore passed in October. The day he died he texted me at 8 am and we texted back and forth til 2:48. I’ll never forget you my brother. Love you!!

Our deepest sympathy to Julie and family at the sudden passing of our beloved friend Norbert.
Norbert and I had worked together and have known each other for 30 years. We shared life’s stories and friendship. Norbert was a trusted friend and one of a kind who has left us many good memories. We will miss and never forget him.
