Mary Kathleen Jines, nee Modglin, 72, of Maryville, IL, born Tuesday, June 27, 1950, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022, at St. Louis University Hospital in Saint Louis, MO.
Mary Kathleen was an Insurance Specialist for General American Insurance for 35 years. She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville, IL and she dearly loved her family and animals.
She was preceded in death by her:
- Parents: Wilbur and Dorothie, nee Rueter, Modglin
Surviving are her:
- Husband: Anthony “Tony” Jines of Maryville, IL
- Daughter: Adrienne Nicole Jines of Maryville, IL
- Dear nieces and cousins
Memorials: Memorials may be made to the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville, IL.
Visitation: Visitation from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL and from 9:30 – 10:00 am Friday, October 28, 2022 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville, IL.
Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, October 28, 2022 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Collinsville, IL, with Father John Beveridge officiating. Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory in Belleville, IL.

What a beautiful lady! I always enjoyed seeing Mary at school and talking to her. Always a smile on her face.
I am so very sorry for your loss. I’m going to be out of town, and felt terrible that I can’t play. All of you are in my prayers.

My heart is heavy that you are longer here. It was such a pleasure getting to know you and bowl with you on Tuesday nights. You will be dearly missed.
