Mary “Ginny” V. Muskopf, nee Morris, 98, of Belleville, Il, born Friday, May 2, 1924, in Wilson, NC, passed away Friday, November 18, 2022, at St. Paul’s Home in Belleville, IL.

Ginny worked as a bookkeeper for St. Clair Service Company. She was a member of Union United Methodist Church in Belleville, IL, where she was active in church activities. She was also a member of Al Sihahl #29 – Daughters of the Nile, numerous bowling leagues, the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, and pinochle clubs .

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Shriners’ Hospital for Children.

Visitation: Visitation from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Kurrus Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with a Daughters of the Nile service at 4 p.m.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, November 28, 2022, at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Dr. Joe Scheets officiating. Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.

Live Stream: The service may be viewed starting at 10:20 am through the Kurrus website live stream link.

Ginny was such a sweet person, not a hateful bone in her body. Traveled with her in the late 80s and played pinochle with her, and with her and Carl. Memorable times together.

She was a truly nice lady. A real classic. When my husband worked for the Service Co. I’d have occasion to go to their office. She was an outstanding worker. My sympathy goes out to all the family.

Thanks for your comments about my mom . She will be greatly missed . She enjoyed working with the farm service and all of her contacts with the farmers in the area . She was glad to be of service to all being that she was raised on a farm . ..98 years young ….. her doughter ( laura Turos )
