Mary E. Swedo, nee Szwedo, 100, of Belleville, IL, born Tuesday, January 4, 1921, in Madison, IL, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021; at her residence in Belleville, IL.
Mary had a true passion for gardening and loved being outside where she would spend hours planting flowers and other beautiful arrangements. She also enjoyed decorating; finding any excuse to spruce up the home and showcase her creativity. Mary was also a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church in Belleville, IL.
She was preceded in death by her:

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the HSHS Hospice.
Visitation: Visitation from 4:00 – 7:00 pm, Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL.
Funeral: A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, December 3, 2021 at Our Lady Queen of Peace, with Father Matthew Elie officiating. Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.

So happy I had a chance to meet your mom and enjoy her sweetness, her love of life and to feel how much love she had for her family.
