Marvin R. Davis, nee , 88, of Belleville, IL, born Tuesday, January 17, 1933, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021; at Freeburg Care Center in Freeburg, IL.
Marvin was an Auditor for Missouri Pacific/ Union Pacific Railroad. He attended St. Matthew United Methodist Church in Belleville IL, O’Fallon Lodge #576, Scottish Rite Bodies, Ainad Temple Shrine and Retired, Missouri Pacific Men’s Club.
He was preceded in death by his:

- Sisters:
- Georgia A. Funesti
- Geraldine R. Volkman
Surviving are his:
- Wife, Dolores M., nee Meyer, Davis of Belleville, IL
- Daughter, Mary D. (Don) Finley of New Athens, IL
- Sister, Shirley M. (Robert) Dailey of Atoscita, TX

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
Visitation: Visitation from 4:00 – 8:00 pm, Friday, October 15, 2021 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL with a Masonic Service at
7:30 pm.
Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Kurrus Funeral Home, with Rev. Bob Swickard officiating. Interment will follow at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.

Delores,
I am so sad to hear of Sonny’s passing. He was a great man.
He was a huge influence on me growing up. And I couldn’t have
ask for a better friend.
I’ll think of you often Sonny and I’ll never forget you.
