Margaret and Bob Gilligan Family:

I worked several years under Bob’s supervision at the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial (Gateway Arch National Park)
I am sorry to hear of Margaret’s passing at this time. I did not know Margaret but I was always impressed how close a relationship they seemed to have, when Bob would mention things they were doing, especially archaeology. His stories of the work at a place I had never heard of before, it began with a “K”; possibly Kincaid, would make me excited knowing about objects hiding in the ground, just waiting to be found to tell our generation stories of past peoples. I am sure you have precious memories as well to dwell on and give thanks for this couple who loved and invested in your lives as well as in service to others.

I remember Rob and Margaret from their days at R & M Jewelry. They were very knowledgeable people and a good source of information. From her teaching days I remember Margaret saying, “Garbage in, Garbage out” which referred to what went into children’s minds. My sympathy to her family and friends.
