The world is a darker place since the loss of Lynne’s light. Shine brightly in the heavens, my dear friend. She was one of my fellow actresses in Mother 6 and a couple other shows in college. We were both fervent Bernie Sanders fans and social justice activists, often trading memes and tips. I am making a donation to my no-kill shelter in dear Lynne’s name. Mother 6 Forever, sister! Until we meet again.

Lynne and I went to college together at Belmont Abbey, I hadn’t seen her years luckily over the last year we were able to reconnect on Zoom. Very easy to see she never changed (a good thing). My prayers go out to her family, god bless.

My words are in shock. I loved and will love her forever. The best cousin there ever was. There is not enough I can say she was kind, loving, brilliant and necessary. Besides her family, her students will never have a professor as wonderful as Lynne.

Lynne Guido always chose love – in the way she cared for her family, in her friendships, her activism, her work (teacher), to be a mother, & to be a wife. I’m lucky we found each other at Belmont Abbey College & we able to share friendship throughout our lives.

Lynne had the strongest sense of right & wrong, always saw the complete person, never shied away from fight against evil-doers or the chance to sing Carol King songs into a mirror with a hair brush.

I will be forever grateful to Lynne, Paul & her family for the love that they showed me, to allow me to see Lynne, tell I loved her, how important she was to me & the world and thank her for all she did for me.❤️

In Lynne’s spirit, please chose love.

Dear family and friends of Lynne, I have been absent from Facebook a lot these past few month so I have not paid much attention to my friends, yesterday I just happened to be thinking about Lynne and wondered how she was doing so I went to her profile page and was shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. Our time spent in Philly at the Democratic National Convention was one of the highlights of my life and staying at Fran’s house with our Bernie friends was so much fun. We hit it off right away and although we did not talk regularly we did keep in touch frequently on Facebook and several times on the phone. I was so happy to have her visit me in Maine during her cross country trip and we enjoyed dinner out and stayed up until the wee hours of the morning talking and reminiscing about our time in Philly. I remember when Bernie ran for president the second time and lost in the primary and I called her and we sobbed together on the phone. She was so easy to talk to. I will remember her kind and caring nature fondly and her gentle spirit. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss, I’m certain that she is resting with the angels happy and free.
