Louis Robert “Joe” Spilka, 80, of Belleville, IL, born Saturday, January 17, 1942, in Belleville, IL, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Keystone Place at Richland Creek Assisted living facility in O’Fallon, Illinois.

Joe worked as an Owner & Operator for Alternate Energy & Disposal, Inc.. He was a member of First United Presbyterian Church in Belleville, IL, a graduate from Belleville Township High School, and the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO. Joe was a registered professional engineer and long time member of the St. Clair Country Club.

Memorials: Memorials may be made to the First United Presbyterian Church in Belleville, IL.

Visitation: Visitation from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, Sunday, November 6, 2022 in the Chapel at First United Presbyterian Church in Belleville, IL.

Funeral: Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 pm, Sunday, November 6, 2022 in the Chapel at First United Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Alexandra Lysdahl officiating.

Peace & Love , Kathy, to you & your Family. I am sitting here smiling as I remember Bob. He was always happy, friendly, & fun & could make you laugh 😁 Hung out alot with Bob & Friends in high school & at Teen Town.
