I was so blessed to be able to visit my Great Aunt Lona when I was in town. She had always been so kind to me. She hosted the family for Easter as a tradition and I have so many fond memories of those great times.

Mrs. Day was a lovely woman and valued member of the Friendship Life Group at Fairview Heights Baptist Church. Over the ten years that we knew each other, she was always warm and humorous with a wise word. Until her health declined, she regularly attended the class and generously shared her thoughts and love. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
