Kristen Kopald, nee, 46, of Columbia, IL, born Saturday, March 23, 1974, in St. Louis, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Saint Louis, MO.
Kristen worked for Enterprise in their marketing department. She enjoyed spending weekends at her happy place at Lake Kinkaid and spending time with her kids. She graciously donated her organs to those in need.
She was preceded in death by her:

- Aunt: Jeanne
- Cousins: Andrea and Matthew
Surviving are her:

- Father: Kenneth Kopald of Carlsbad, CA
- Step- mother: Barbara Kopald of Carlsbad, CA

- Megan Siebert
- Fiancé: Bryan White
- Brother: Kevin (Stacy) Kopald of Apex, NC
- Step-sister: Lindsey (Ryan) Vanderbilt of Carlsbad, CA
- Nephew: Logan
- Niece: Hayden
- Many aunts, uncles and cousins
Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Harris House, 2706 S River Rd St. Charles MO 63303.
Services: A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

I’m just seeing this, and on behalf of me and dad (Dave Pusa) we want to send our deepest sympathies. Kristen a d I had connected a few years back, and I enjoyed getting to catch up with her in our adult years. We had great memories from when we were kids. We are sending so much love & prayers Ken & Vickie. This is devastating ❤️

Dear Ken and Barb,
Max and I send our very deepest condolences. We remember like yesterday all of the many fun and family times we all had together! Kristen and Kevin were always so cute and so nice to be around. It just, as a parent, does not seem fair to lose a child ahead of ourselves!

I am so sad to hear of her passing. I am sorry for all of your losses. I spent many hours with her in the car on the way to school in high school and also at her house after school for many years. My deepest condolences to the entire family. Jennifer Griesedieck

I am Evan Kopald. My son Ryan S Kopald, 56, left us on 2/20/21. I understand what you must be feeling. .I continue to come to grips with his absence. It is not easy.
