Kevin Todd Bowen, 53, of Waterloo, IL, born Sunday, January 14, 1973, in Belleville, IL, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at Memorial Hospital West in Belleville, IL.
Kevin worked as an Estimator for MPM Industries in Glen Carbon, IL and was a member of Carpenter’s Union Local 295. He was a graduate of Belleville Township High School East (1991) and Southwestern Illinois College (2003).

God bless the Bowen family. Kevin will be missed by many including us. To be called home at such a young age is so sad. He was truly a wonderful neighbor.
Kevin was a good neighbor who turned into a great friend. He was kind, funny, helpful, and always kept a beautiful yard. Our boys grew to have a close bond with Kevin and will always remember him as Batman. Gone way too soon and will be missed forever. Our condolences to the Bowen family and Kendra.

I am so sorry for your loss. I’ve known Kevin since 1992 and have considered him a friend ever since. Last time we saw each other was in April and our friendship never missed a beat. That’s just how he was. I loved that about him. Every single time we saw each other out, went to a concert, or randomly bumped into each other was a delight I’ll forever cherish. Kevin was a great friend. It has been awhile since I had seen him but he will be missed by all that knew him.
I met Kevin last year at my wife’s company Christmas party. He was a cool dude and easy to get along with. He reached out to me this past year to hangout with the guys. I had just moved here and didn’t have any friends yet in IL. He bought the first round and we had a great time together. He became my newest and first friend here in IL. I still have his contact in my phone and hope / half expect him to call me to hang out again. I’ll miss him.
My sincere condolences to his family and friends. It’s a shock to the system that can be hard to absorb. We never expect it, and it hurts when it happens, and gets worse once you realize that it’s real, and that you have to accept it. For me, I’ll continue to keep his contact information in my phone. I might even call him from time to time, but that’s my way of dealing with it.

Kevin was a great neighbor, lived 2 doors down. Cool guy. I’m so sorry for your loss. We always talked about Baseball. He will be missed. The Bowen Family are in our prayers. He will be missed.
